Mission Education
Mission Education is a national level programme of Smile Foundation which focuses on the basic education for the underprivileged children and youths. Initiated in the year 2003, Mission Education works for underprivileged children under difficult circumstances such as child labour, children of poorest of the parents, children inflicted and affected with HIV/AIDS, street and runaway children, children with rare disability [Autism, Deaf & Dumb, Blind, and Spastic etc.], disaster struck children and slum children etc.
The educational initiatives for underprivileged children include Crèche [0-3 yrs], Pre-school [3-6 yrs], Non Formal Education [6-14 yrs non-school going], Remedial Education [6-14 yrs school going], Bridge Course [14-18 yrs drop-outs], Functional Literacy [18-45 yrs women] and Family Life Education for adolescent girls.
Mission Education programme has so far benefitted over 200,000 children across 19 states in India.
Smile on wheels
The poor health conditions of the people living in urban slums and rural villages stems from mainly two reasons –first the lack of education and thus lack of awareness; and second the unwillingness to lose a day’s wage in order to reach the nearest medical facility. In such a scenario a mobile medical services delivery system is the most practical mechanism.
Initiated in the year 2006 Smile on Wheels is a national level mobile hospital programme of Smile Foundation which caters to the health care need of underprivileged community dwellings in the urban slums and remote/ rural areas of India. Wheels mobile hospital provides preventive, curative and promotive healthcare services to the underprivileged right at their door steps.
Through this programme Smile has so far benefitted over 450, 000 people across the country.
Health Camps is a special initiative of Jumpstartsociety to provide health care services to meet the immediate health care needs of the marginalized community in remote rural areas and slums through standalone camps. Jumpstartsociety organizes customized health camps extensively across the country offering comprehensive health services – curative, preventive, promotive and referral, to a large number of people in selected intervention areas with a minimal cost.
Twin e- Learning programme
Twin e- Learning Programme (TeP) is a national level employability programme that trains the urban and rural underprivileged adolescent youth in English proficiency, Basic Computer Education and Soft Skills Management for enhancing their prospects of employment in the fast expanding retail, hospitality and service sectors.
Started in the year 2007, Smile Twin e- Learning Programme of Smile Foundation tries to create a pool of young and independent people, from the marginalized section, through skill enhancement in tandem with market requirements. It is an effort towards bridging the gap between demand and supply of skilled manpower in the fast emerging services and retail sectors of modern India.
The programme has so far trained over 10,000 youth and has employed over 8000 among them.
Swabhiman is an initiative of Smile Foundation that has been working, with a bifocal approach, for the sustainable development of underprivileged women and girls. Initiated in the year 2005, the programme was by and large conceptualized in accordance with the goals and objectives enshrined in the National Policy for the empowerment of Women, and were overall mandated to create processes and environment for women and adolescent girls at the grassroots to realise their optimum potential in all facets of societal living and situations. The programme is specifically aimed at realization of both individual and collective self-esteem and inner strength for marginalised and socially excluded women and adolescent girls through innovative community practices.

The programme has benefitted over 150,000 women and girls since inception.
Child for Child
The Child for Child (CFC) programme is such an initiative of Jumpstartsociety that sensitizes privileged children of the existing disparities in the social order and motivates them to contribute their individual mite towards the cause of the underprivileged. It brings together children from both the backgrounds – affluent and deprived, in an attempt to foster in the affluent children a sense of responsibility towards their less privileged counterparts, early on in life.

The programme has so far reached and sensitized over 2 million children in 2500 schools across the country.
